Standard Deemed Rates

UK legislation covering the supply of electricity or gas stipulates that when a Company takes over or regains the responsibility of a property, they’re deemed to have entered into an agreement with the registered electricity and/or gas supplier to that property. This means that the electricity or gas supplier is required to provide electricity/gas to the customer and that the customer is required to pay for that electricity or gas at the supplier’s published rates until alternative arrangements have been agreed.

Pursuant to sub-paragraph (7) of paragraph 3 of Schedule 6 to the Electricity Act 1989 (“the Electricity Act”) and paragraph 8 of Schedule 2B to the Gas Act 1986 (“the Gas Act”), where Evolve Energy is the registrant supplier under a Deemed Contract our Deemed Rates are as follows:

Electricity

Out of Contract Rates

Evolve Energy apply out of contract rates when the energy contract with a customer comes to an end, and there is no new or alternative contract put into place. These rates will apply until a new contract commences or the customer switches to another supplier.
